Help for the Mayer economy has come in the size of a small store called Jeans & Bling. Rick Berry and his wife, Karen, have lived in the local area for about 10 years and know how frustrating it is to have to drive either to Prescott Valley or to Phoenix to buy jeans. With so many people trying to save time and money they decided to open up Jeans & Bling. They have no jeans over $17.99, and all of the jeans are store closeouts.

"You're getting mall store quality at very inexpensive prices," Berry said.

Jeans & Bling also carries many different giftables from beautiful one-of-a-kind handmade jewelry and gel candles to handmade inexpensive sarongs. The jewelry includes fashion items for the kids to beautiful Indian jewelry made by local artists.

Karen in one of the local independent Avon representatives and you can find her at the store a few hours a day. Store hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Any time Karen is there you will find Yoyo, her service dog, and the couple's big Lab, Mr. D. The store is located at 13276 Central Mayer next to the Sheriff's Office substation.
