More than 20 outdoor enthusiasts met Sunday, Nov. 1, at 4B's Café in Black Canyon City to participate in a family-oriented poker run.

The ride was more than 30 miles long, and included quads, rhinos and other 4x4 vehicles. The event raised $315 for Cañon School.

Tate Caldwell won best hand and donated half of his winnings back to the school. Carol Nash won worst hand and donated her winnings back to the school as well.

Thank you to 4B's, The Spot, Shell gas station, Christi Merrill and Preventative Health Care Massage for sponsoring this community event.
