Volunteers and veterans honor fallen heroes at Mayer cemetery

About 34 community members gathered for a Veteran's Day ceremony at the Mayer Cemetery on Nov. 11.

Volunteers placed ceremonial wreathes in both sections of the cemetery and Purple Heart recipient and Iraq veteran Barrett Walters read aloud the names of the veterans buried in the cemetery.
