Potted palm trees, chili lights, colorful umbrellas, bistro tables and oldies music are all part of the festive atmosphere at the Chihuahua Chill Grill in Black Canyon City. The Chill Grill opened April 1 on the south end of the parking area of the Blue Mountain General Store.

Longtime neighbors, friends open new gift shop in BCC's Harmil
The phrase "It's a small world" couldn't be truer for Cindy Jedlicki and Debby Poirier of Black Canyon City.

Jedlicki and Poirier recently opened Pleasantries Hand Made Treasures in the Harmil Plaza in BCC. However, when they met in Black Canyon City they discovered that not only were they both from Minnesota, but had lived only 10 minutes apart and their children had attended the same school.

Byler's Amish Kitchen in Black Canyon City is for the birds. And the bird lovers. Diners at the restaurant on Old Black Canyon Highway can't help but notice the literal "city" of birdhouses outside the eatery's large picture windows. Some regulars drop in and wait for the window booths just to watch the action.
