Sam has been a general contractor in the Prescott area for the past 30 years, so he is familiar with the area. The couple heard from a friend that the 5-acre park property was on the market.

The Knoys created spaces for overnighters, and for small and large RVs.

Old Cordes Store in its fifth year after re-opening
When a drunken John Grasse pulled a knife and killed saloon and stage stop owner Otto Bolin on the night of Jan. 21, 1882, he probably didn't think about much more than getting away from the scene of his crime along the banks of Antelope Creek about eight miles south of Mayer.
